Scary..

This is hard for me to really sit down and put everything into words, but lately its been bugging me that I need to write this down, and no better then my digital journal.
A few weeks now Carson has had horrible ear infections, they dosed him on antibiotics and we played the waiting game. He started really looking very ill about 2 weeks ago, and things just seemed to make him fussy, anyone who has met Carson knows he is not a fussy baby, but it just started the worry game. We waited to see a specialist and IMMEDIATELY panic set in, he is 9 months and weighs only 14 pounds. HE has terrible diarrhea thought to be caused by the antibiotics. SO the nightmares begins, talking about diseases, cancers, leukemia, different types of terrible terrible things that could cause him to stop growing. Yes, he just stopped growing. I cannot even express to anyone the pain and hurt I felt. Something is wrong with our baby.. I called Tom hysterical, then my family. My dad, my mom, my family, Tom's family. And we could feel the prayers instantly. It was like a warm blanket, and we held each other very tight. As I prepared myself to take our little boy to become a pin cushion I knew we would find answers and that Carson would get help. We rushed right in to see the doctors and the first thing out of his mouth was NO CANCER or LEUKEMIA- relief. We are still waiting on tests and the process of elimination, but he has gained an ounce over night, and the doctors will not hospitalize him at this point, we are feeding him special formula, and he is eating like a champ. Pray for Carson. He is an amazing little boy, and one day I hope he reads this and can see for himself how much he overcame and just how special he is. We all love him. We thank everyone for fasting and praying earnestly in his behalf. No matter what he has been through he SMILES. He smiles at the nurse while she is taking his blood, he smiles at the doctors while they examine him, he just smiles.....

That is scary. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious -- or better yet, nothing at all! He's a cute kid. :)
