Who is who? I really cannot believe it! They all look so much alike. I swore up and down that Kaden and Carson looked totally different but LOOK! And then look at TOM!

Summer Fun
Our SUMMER has been very relaxing and taking it slow- with Toms surgery and Carson being sick we really have been home quite a bit and taking things easy but we sure do have fun and have been out a little bit! Kaden enjoys his cousins and playing with Lizzy, and Brynn. We have been to the cabin and swimming, and fun things. Tom started softball and we love going to the park. Fun times. :)

The Hospital
Carson started getting sick, a runny nose and a temperature but I kept thinking he was finally teething, little did I know that it was much more serious then that, by Sunday the 5th, this Sunday was Brynn baby blessing, we left soon after she was blessed and took him home to see what was going on but he just would not eat anything and had not wet his diaper so Aunt Shannon came over and assessed him and thought he needed to get hydrated and saw he had ear infections. I took him straight to the ER and they were so great, they kept us in good spirits and took great care of Carson, in the ER he had low oxygen sats so they decided to do a full work up, this ended up being Metapneumovirus which caused the bronchitis- inflammation in his lungs which made it difficult to breathe on top of the ear infection which made his stop eating, which caused the HIGH fevers which caused his to have horrible gastrointestinal problems which caused his to be dehydrated which all caused him to stay 3 days in the hospital. He still has a hard time eating, he lost a pound in 2 days but is starting to gain again. As a mother it absolutely breaks your heart to see your baby in pain and agony, it was no doubt the hardest time but he is amazing such a tough kid. HE SMILES NO MATTER WHAT... Thanks for all the prayers- for the fasting and love. We know that this boy will be healthy and strong and we thank God everyday for him and for our family. Thanks for those who watched Kaden during all this! So MANY blessings! :)

Meaningful May
One word to describe May would be "meaningful". Even though the weather was very crazy, snowing, raining and the wind.. we still managed to make the most of EVERYDAY- we went to many parks, played with friends, and family. We had to deal with a few health issues but blessing out-poured on our family. Tom reads to the boys, and it is the most precious thing to sit and listen to! Mother's Day the boys gave me flowers and dinner- pictures and LOVE.. I Love these moments. xoxoxo

Easter 2011
I know I am a few months behind, but in an attempt to update I will start from Easter, the Saturday before I took Kaden to four Easter Egg hunts and we had so much fun running everywhere. He was loving every minute! We had an Easter Egg party at the Kimber's with a yummy dinner, and on Sunday I had my brother's family over for dinner and a little Easter Egg hunt, but it was anything but little, there were so many eggs both the kids gave up, so we had to keep them encouraged to pick them all up! Its turned out great!

The latest drama
For some reason after such a terrible scare with Carson everything seems to be so small in retrospect. After seeing such blessing knowing it could be so much worse and Carson is doing so much better. He is on a enhanced calorie diet and this has helped so much with taking some medication he is doing so well, and has gained 8 ounces and the doctors said we will wait to see how he grows but it may take sometime. What a blessing, what an AMAZING little man. He continues to smile and bring the love into our home everyday! Kaden loves helping feed him and take care of him. It really is amazing how things like this brings family together, you really can see blessings in all things.
Thomas is not out of the woods yet with his new found scare. He went to the doctors for his foot (he hurt it at work) and the doctors were more concern about the lump on the side of his thigh that they found then his foot. Both are very concerning but he had to get a MRI immediately to see what this was. MRI showed that he has a lesion about 9x6x3mm outside the muscle in his thigh that was not there about a year ago when he was checked out in the same leg. This lump caused horrible pain when anyone touches it and he tries to be a tough guy about it and not complain. We will have to go to some specialists and see, the plan would be to have a surgeon do a biopsy and could tell us more.
We know everything has a way of working itself out and no matter what we are family and nothing will ever bring us down! We find strength because of your prayers and because of your strength. At times it feels pretty overwhelming but at the same time we all feel so much comfort. Thank you all for thinking of us, for praying for us, and for helping us!

Hit and Run
Tom woke up to THIS:
Yes, Someone hit our fence in the middle of the night and took off. Tom woke up called the police and filed a report. Guessing it was a drunk driver or some type of excuse to hit and run. What in the WORLD makes people act the way they do?? Now what is next.. hehe! :)

What now???
What next? I learned earlier in my life instead of asking why, you ask when. When is it my turn to test the personal strength, the spiritual strength and the physical strength, you really never know what lies ahead or what is to come your way. Just in a short time it seems that things just kept testing our patients never our faith. My stress level is high. You know the saying the past prepares you for the future is true in this sense. Tom and I have overcome some big hurdles. I could always cry to my dad about whenever things were getting hard. He would always tell me if things were going perfect then you’re doing something wrong. Or when things were going terrible he would remind me that something good is right around the corner, and that it is in the Lord’s hands. With my father’s wisdom comes my mother’s comfort. I count my blessings, my family holds me together.
Here are a few things that have come upon us this last week:

MY Carson..
We do not know very much, the doctors think he has c-diff from the antibiotics and that is making him very sick and can cause weight-loss, still no answers to why he stopped growing. BUT he is happy still, Thanks for all the love and prayers! Carson is a trooper, he just likes keeping life interesting :)
