The latest drama

For some reason after such a terrible scare with Carson everything seems to be so small in retrospect. After seeing such blessing knowing it could be so much worse and Carson is doing so much better. He is on a enhanced calorie diet and this has helped so much with taking some medication he is doing so well, and has gained 8 ounces and the doctors said we will wait to see how he grows but it may take sometime. What a blessing, what an AMAZING little man. He continues to smile and bring the love into our home everyday! Kaden loves helping feed him and take care of him. It really is amazing how things like this brings family together, you really can see blessings in all things.

Thomas is not out of the woods yet with his new found scare. He went to the doctors for his foot (he hurt it at work) and the doctors were more concern about the lump on the side of his thigh that they found then his foot. Both are very concerning but he had to get a MRI immediately to see what this was. MRI showed that he has a lesion about 9x6x3mm outside the muscle in his thigh that was not there about a year ago when he was checked out in the same leg. This lump caused horrible pain when anyone touches it and he tries to be a tough guy about it and not complain. We will have to go to some specialists and see, the plan would be to have a surgeon do a biopsy and could tell us more.

We know everything has a way of working itself out and no matter what we are family and nothing will ever bring us down! We find strength because of your prayers and because of your strength. At times it feels pretty overwhelming but at the same time we all feel so much comfort. Thank you all for thinking of us, for praying for us, and for helping us!

Hit and Run

Tom woke up to THIS:

Yes, Someone hit our fence in the middle of the night and took off. Tom woke up called the police and filed a report. Guessing it was a drunk driver or some type of excuse to hit and run. What in the WORLD makes people act the way they do?? Now what is next.. hehe! :)

What now???

What next? I learned earlier in my life instead of asking why, you ask when. When is it my turn to test the personal strength, the spiritual strength and the physical strength, you really never know what lies ahead or what is to come your way. Just in a short time it seems that things just kept testing our patients never our faith. My stress level is high. You know the saying the past prepares you for the future is true in this sense. Tom and I have overcome some big hurdles. I could always cry to my dad about whenever things were getting hard. He would always tell me if things were going perfect then you’re doing something wrong. Or when things were going terrible he would remind me that something good is right around the corner, and that it is in the Lord’s hands. With my father’s wisdom comes my mother’s comfort. I count my blessings, my family holds me together.
Here are a few things that have come upon us this last week:

Carson has not been getting better and goes to Primary Children's to get answers. He lost a few ounces because the doctors took him off of baby food, and his diet is nothing but special formula. He keeps smiling and eating! A trooper. Of course they keep doing more and more tests, and poking him but everyday he amazes me!
I got a spider bite on my ear which caused an infection in my gland and caused my ear to swell up, painful and now I have an ear infection. Hello antibiotics!
We cannot get away from the car accidents- this happened this week about 2am, six people climbed out of the car and everyone was alright, but still.. this seems to just add to our luck.
Tom was working UPS and injured his ankle while working. His foot has gotten even worse even after I took this picture, but he is tough guy and says he is just fine.

Things missing from this fun list (being sarcastic) would be having to car trouble and having to get brand new tires! BUT family helps me see the blessings, and in every situation there are blessings, I may not have the understanding to how in certain things, but soon I will see the big picture! Love you all.

MY Carson..

We do not know very much, the doctors think he has c-diff from the antibiotics and that is making him very sick and can cause weight-loss, still no answers to why he stopped growing. BUT he is happy still, Thanks for all the love and prayers! Carson is a trooper, he just likes keeping life interesting :)
